Concert/Party at CHOM 97.7 tonight!

Winter is almost upon us!

First snow has fallen around here and we’re excited for what’s to come…  including…

Tonight, Friday, November 15, 2013, 8pm, Life in Winter will be playing a show/party at CHOM 97.7 FM (www.chom.com) with three other Montréal bands:

– The Damn Truth (thedamntruth.bandcamp.com)
– Xavier Caféïne (cafeinemusic.com)
– We Are Wolves (wearewolves.bandcamp.com)

We’re stoked! CHOM (and in particular one of their DJs, Jason Rockman, and their musical director, Picard) have really been supporting the band, playing our song Wood Fire a lot (4 times yesterday!) If you would like to come to the show you can tune in to CHOM and check-out the contest here. Here’s a promo clip for the event.

The show will be re-aired (on 97.7FM in Montréal and everywhere on their website) on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013 from 10pm to midnight.

Yeah!

Show at Snack n’ Blues Tonight!

Life in Winter will be playing a couple sets at Snack n’ Blues (5260 St-Laurent), tonight, 10pm!

1st set- songs from our album (original music), 2nd set- some choice covers (Neil Young, Velvet Underground, Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Fleetwood Mac), and a possible jam session after that. These Sunday Slams have been going since late September and are really fun!

Come party with us!

Happy Winter Solstice!

Wishing you all a peaceful Winter Solstice and Holiday Season, in general!

Things are in the works for a tour in mid/late-February and we have a show on January 20th at Snack and Blues, but for now it’s a few days of much needed vacation.

Thanks for all of the great (and eventful) times in 2012 and we’ll see you on the other side, in 2013.

Cheers!

– Sage (and Life in Winter)
